Overview
We are seeking a qualified Obstetrics Sonographer to join a well-regarded NHS service in West Yorkshire. The role focuses exclusively on obstetric scanning, offering the opportunity to work within a high-quality service recognised for its clinical standards (DQASS green or amber flag). You will work as part of a supportive team, providing accurate diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of obstetric ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
- Produce accurate reports and make appropriate referrals where necessary.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity during all examinations.
- Contribute to the delivery of a professional and efficient ultrasound service.
Requirements
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
- Proven experience in obstetric ultrasound scanning.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
