Our client is an NHS Foundation Trust seeking a dedicated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Consultant Radiologist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, providing high-quality care to our diverse patient population.

Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum

Typical Job Plan and Duties

  • Consult with patients to explain the processes, risks, and benefits of nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Administer radioactive substances to patients to generate images of the body and diagnose diseases.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT scans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver patient care.
  • Conduct research to develop new methods of using radioactive substances in diagnosing and treating diseases.
  • Participate in teaching and training junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent.
  • Full registration (and a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) within 6 months of interview.
