We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis, with an immediate start for a short-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality patient care
- Conducting comprehensive assessments
- Developing individualised treatment plans
- Maintaining compliance with all legal obligations as prescribed by the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice
- Assessing patients under the MHA, making recommendations, and acting as the Responsible Clinician (RC)
Qualifications and Experience
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Section 12 approval
- Approved Clinician status
- Previous experience in a similar role
