We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Catheterisation Laboratory professional to join our team in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of procedures within the catheterization laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
What will your responsibilities be:
- Conducting various cardiac catheterisation procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Working closely with patients to explain procedures, ensure their comfort, and accurately record test results.
- Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient care plans.
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment, adhering to clinical protocols, and staying updated with the latest advancements in catheterisation techniques.
- Participating in quality assurance activities, assisting in the training and supervision of junior staff, and contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Involved in patient education, providing information on cardiac health and post-procedure care.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field.
- HCPC registration.
- Extensive experience in cardiac catheterisation procedures.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional catheterisation techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording test results.
