Our client is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Occupational Therapist to join their Medicine & Urgent Care Therapies team. This is an autonomous, senior clinical role within a specialist area, supporting the delivery of high-quality care to complex and acutely unwell patients.

The Role:

  • Provide advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients with complex needs, including neurological, respiratory, cognitive, and multi-pathology presentations.
  • Work autonomously while leading and supporting clinical activity within your specialist area.
  • Actively contribute to multidisciplinary working, ward rounds, and discharge planning.
  • Provide specialist advice, supervision, and training to therapy staff.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Significant experience working at an advanced level in acute hospital settings.
  • Strong MDT working, clinical reasoning, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads independently.
