I am seeking experienced Senior Registrars (SPR) in Emergency Medicine to join our team at University Hospital of Birmingham, specifically at Good Hope Hospital or Heartlands Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality care in a dynamic and fast-paced emergency department on an ad hoc basis.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Supervise and support junior medical staff and trainees.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
Required Skills:
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Completion of Advanced Life Support (ALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) certifications.
- Proven experience in emergency medicine at the Senior Registrar level.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
