Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Acute Care & Oncology) to join an established pharmacy team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced cancer care and the world’s largest early clinical trials unit. You will deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services, supporting oncology and acute care pathways while working within a specialist multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services across oncology and acute care.
- Support the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical pharmacy services.
- Act as a clinical role model and contribute to the supervision and teaching of pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.
- Support implementation and optimisation of medicine management systems.
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and protocol/guideline implementation.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- BPharm, MPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy.
- Acute hospital experience required.
- Experience in oncology and/or acute medicine highly desirable.
- Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) desirable.
