Are you an experienced and dedicated Mammographer looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Mammographer to join our client’s team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality breast imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography. You will lead and manage the mammography team, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Your role will involve performing mammograms, interpreting results, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans. Additionally, you will oversee the training and development of junior staff, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in delivering exceptional breast imaging services and enhancing patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma in Mammography
  • HCPC registration
  • Extensive experience in mammography
  • Screening/Symptomatic experience
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Knowledge of legislation regarding ionising radiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
