Salary: £55,825 – £90,000 a year pro rata per annum

We are looking for a Specialty Doctor in Microbiology to join an established NHS Medical Microbiology service in London. The doctor will join the team in the provision of clinical services in Medical Microbiology, working closely with the Consultants and other clinical and laboratory staff. The successful applicant will be expected to authorise specimens under the supervision of a Consultant, liaise with other doctors within the hospital to discuss results, and provide clinical advice under the supervision of a consultant. Regular attendance of antibiotic stewardship ward rounds is required as part of the stewardship team. CESR support can be offered to applicants wanting to pursue this pathway to GMC-specialist registration.
