Pulse Nursing is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) with phlebotomy experience to join our team across South East London, with shifts available Monday to Sunday (8:00am – 7:30pm). These locations are well suited to HCA and phlebotomy candidates travelling by public transport.
We offer competitive hourly pay rates of:
- Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
- Saturday: £20.96 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.78 per hour
Working as a Phlebotomist/HCA, you will:
- Complete POCT cholesterol checks, height, weight and waist measurements, heart rate and blood pressure checks, and accurately record findings on the system.
- Draw two blood samples, ensuring they are correctly labelled and stored.
- Monitor the wellbeing of participants throughout their appointments, escalating concerns where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Certificate in Phlebotomy.
- A minimum of one year's active experience drawing blood.
- Experience taking patient observations.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
