About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team in a specialist school setting in West London. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with a range of physical developmental and sensory needs to achieve their full potential in education and daily life. As part of a multidisciplinary team you will work closely with teachers, support staff and families to provide tailored interventions that promote independence, participation and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardised and informal tools.
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support functional skills, self-care and school-based activities.
  • Deliver 1:1 and group therapy sessions within the school environment.
  • Provide advice, training and strategies to staff and caregivers to embed therapeutic approaches.
  • Contribute to EHCP processes and multidisciplinary reviews.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.

About You

  • Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational or paediatric setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as required.
