We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Microbiology to join our private client's team in South East London. This is a full‐time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well‐established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will perform culture, identification, and sensitivity testing of clinical specimens.
  • You will detect bacterial infections using manual and automated techniques.

Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Experience in Microbiology within a clinical laboratory
  • Experience with culture and sensitivity testing
  • Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • NHS experience (preferred)
