We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology/Blood Transfusion to join our client's team in Dorset. This is a fullâtime, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and wellâestablished laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
- You will ensure accurate analysis, maintain quality control, and collaborate with clinical teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Haematology & Blood Transfusion within a clinical NHS laboratory
- Experience with QPulse, DxH900, Stago STAâMa, and Starrsed ESR
- Strong analytical and problemâsolving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
