Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry

Location: London

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: shifts allocated between 8am - 9pm

Hourly Rate: £25 - £35

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working shifts between 8am - 9pm, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms.
  • You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory
  • Experience with Roche 411/311 analysers, Infinity IQC & Winpath LIMS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • NHS experience (preferred)
