Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8A Clinical Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at a hospital in West London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services across inpatient areas, ensuring safe and effective medicines management within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising patient care, supporting clinical governance, and contributing to service development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services across designated wards.
  • Provide expert advice on medicines optimisation and prescribing practices.
  • Support audits, clinical governance, and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy within an NHS setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical governance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
