Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8A Clinical Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at a hospital in West London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services across inpatient areas, ensuring safe and effective medicines management within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising patient care, supporting clinical governance, and contributing to service development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services across designated wards.
- Provide expert advice on medicines optimisation and prescribing practices.
- Support audits, clinical governance, and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy within an NHS setting.
- Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
