Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Specialist Pharmacist – Cancer Services to join the technical services team at a leading Cancer Centre. This is an onsite role ideal for a pharmacist with strong clinical triage skills and experience in systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe and effective cancer treatment services during a critical staffing period.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical triage for SACT prescriptions.
- Support technical services within the cancer site.
- Ensure safe and compliant handling of cancer medicines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Minimum one year of experience working in a Cancer Centre.
- BOPA Passport for SACT is essential.
- Strong clinical knowledge of oncology and chemotherapy protocols.
- Experience with technical services and cancer pharmacy operations.
