Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 5 or Band 6 Audiologist to join a well-established NHS service covering Bridlington and Scarborough General Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to routine adult audiology services in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality hearing aid services to adult patients, including assessments, fittings, and follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine adult hearing aid services, including assessments, fittings, and maintenance.
- Conduct hearing tests and interpret audiometric results.
- Offer patient-centred care and support throughout the hearing aid journey.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider audiology and ENT teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and national standards of audiology practice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a recognised qualification in Audiology (e.g. BSc in Audiology or equivalent).
- Be HCPC or RCCP registered.
- Have experience in routine adult hearing aid work.
- Be confident in working independently and managing your own caseload.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
