Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Lister Hospital in Chelsea. This role offers a great opportunity to support both dispensary and ward-based services within a busy hospital environment. The successful candidate will be required to work across a variety of shift patterns and may support ward-based duties if they have the relevant experience. Hospital experience is preferred, though candidates from community or outpatient backgrounds will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support dispensary operations including dispensing and labelling of medicines.
- Assist with ward-based pharmacy services where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and wider healthcare teams.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to SOPs.
- Contribute to safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmacy services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous pharmacy experience essential (hospital preferred).
- Experience in dispensary and/or ward-based roles desirable.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
