We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to work full time hours per week for our client’s team based in Wembley, Middlesex. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments.
- Evaluating children & adolescents to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms.
- Formulating individualised treatment plans tailored to each person's needs and goals.
- Leading a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
- Regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care.
- Contributing to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care.
This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Must have a full GMC license to practice.
- Section 12 & AC approval.
- Proven experience in relevant field.
