We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 8a Pharmacist to join our team in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to contribute to our healthcare services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional early or late shifts, including participation in out-of-hours services such as weekends, bank holidays, and late duties.
Responsibilities:
- Providing expert pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conducting medication reviews and providing clinical advice.
- Involvement in the training and supervision of junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our pharmacy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- First degree in Pharmacy (Masters) or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Post-Graduate Clinical Pharmacy Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Leadership qualification or training.
- Experience in participating in out-of-hours services, including weekends, bank holidays, and late duties.
