We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 8a Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to contribute to patient care and safety through a variety of clinical and educational responsibilities. Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Medicines reconciliation.
  • Providing counselling and advice to doctors and nurses.
  • Screening drug charts and TTAs.
  • Performing clinical interventions.
  • Training staff and contributing to the overall improvement of clinical practices within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
  • Significant experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medicines reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent communication and counselling skills.
  • Ability to provide expert advice to healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in screening drug charts and TTAs.
  • Proven track record in clinical interventions.
  • Experience in training and mentoring staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
