We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 8A Medical Wards Pharmacist to join our team in London. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work within acute NHS hospitals, providing essential pharmacy services to medical wards. Responsibilities:

  • Covering medical wards within acute NHS hospitals.
  • Validating TTAs (To Take Away medications).
  • Undertaking medicines reconciliation.
  • Providing clinical advice to the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Significant experience of covering medical wards within acute NHS hospitals.
  • Ability to validate TTAs.
  • Proficiency in undertaking medicines reconciliation.
  • Capability to provide clinical advice to the MDT.
