We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispensary or Ward-Based Pharmacist to join our team in Cheshire. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the dispensing of medications and providing clinical pharmacy services on the wards.
- Conduct medication reviews, ensure the accuracy of prescriptions, and provide advice on the safe and effective use of medications.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient outcomes, and contribute to the development of pharmacy services within the hospital.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Dispensary or ward-based experience in a hospital setting (ideally)
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in medication management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous professional development
