Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (1-hour lunch break)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team in London. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing specialized pharmaceutical care to oncology and hematology patients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, contributing to patient care, and supporting clinical trials.

Responsibilities:

  • Screening oncology and hematology prescriptions
  • Managing inpatient and outpatient medication therapy
  • Providing expert advice on the use of oncology medications
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Educating patients on medication use
  • Participating in clinical trials
  • Managing aseptic preparations
  • Supporting the training and development of pharmacy staff

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous oncology and hematology inpatient and outpatient experience
  • Experience in screening oncology/hematology prescriptions
  • Aseptic experience
  • Clinical trials experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
