The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a Specialist Pharmacist to join our Haematology & Oncology team on a full-time basis. This is a temporary position for 6 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will provide specialist pharmaceutical care to haematology and oncology patients.
- You will ensure the safe and effective use of medicines within the department.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- You will conduct clinical audits and contribute to service development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hospital experience as a pharmacist.
- Must hold a BOPA SACT passport.
- Proven experience in haematology and oncology pharmacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
