Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and verifying chemotherapy prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with treatment protocols.
- Providing expert pharmaceutical advice to oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring and managing drug interactions, side effects, and patient responses to oncology medications.
- Educating patients on their treatment plans, including chemotherapy regimens and supportive medications.
- Participating in clinical audits and contributing to the development of oncology pharmacy guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Proven experience in oncology pharmacy, including chemotherapy verification and patient counselling.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
