The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a ED Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy with specific experience in emergency medicine. This is a full-time position with working hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, including a 45-minute break each day.
Key Responsibilities- You will provide expert pharmaceutical care in the Emergency Department.
- You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- You will ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
- You will conduct medication reviews and provide clinical advice.
- You will participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Education and Qualifications:
- GPhC Registered.
- 1 year pre-registration training.
- Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
- Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
- Significant experience in clinical pharmacy, particularly in emergency medicine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of medicines and their applications.
