The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterology Pharmacist to join our team in London. This is a Band 8A position, ideal for a professional with a strong background in hospital pharmacy and gastroenterology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist pharmaceutical care to gastroenterology patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage and review medication regimens for gastroenterology patients.
- Offer expert advice on the use of medications within the gastroenterology department.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
- GPhC Registered.
- 1 year pre-registration training.
- Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) accredited by the GPhC.
- Previous experience working in an NHS hospital setting is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Extensive experience in gastroenterology.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
