We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8 Pharmacist to join our team at Pulse AHP. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective preparation and release of aseptic products, as well as the professional screening of chemotherapy for both oncology and haematology patients. The successful candidate will play a key role in our pharmacy operations, contributing to high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the pre-check and release of aseptic products in a manufacturing aseptic unit, ensuring all products meet the required standards.
- Conduct professional screening of chemotherapy prescriptions for oncology and haematology patients, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Maintain the high standards of our pharmacy services and support the multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hospital experience as a pharmacist.
- Must hold a BOPA SACT passport.
- Proven experience in haematology and oncology pharmacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
