We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team at Pulse AHP. The ideal candidate will have clinical hospital experience, preferably in oncology. Experience with clinical trials is desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screening prescriptions on clinical trials oncology wards.
- Providing pharmaceutical care to oncology patients.
- Ensuring the safe and effective use of medication.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Participating in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Educating and training healthcare staff on pharmaceutical practices.
- Managing and overseeing the supply of medicines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in pharmacy (or equivalent).
- Post-graduate clinical pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Significant experience in oncology & Clinical trials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver complex information to patients and their relatives effectively.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Enthusiasm for training and developing other members of staff.
Training: Training will be provided for the use of the electronic prescribing system, Chemo care.
