Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and verifying chemotherapy prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with treatment protocols.
  • Providing expert pharmaceutical advice to oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitoring and managing drug interactions, side effects, and patient responses to oncology medications.
  • Educating patients on their treatment plans, including chemotherapy regimens and supportive medications.
  • Participating in clinical audits and contributing to the development of oncology pharmacy guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • SACT screening experience.
  • Experience verifying SACT within clinical trials.
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
  • Previous experience using Epic system.
