We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MMT Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Aylesbury. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective management of medicines within our healthcare facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and efficient use of medications, and contributing to the overall quality of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the medicines management team.
- Overseeing the accurate dispensing and distribution of medications.
- Conducting medication reviews and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use.
- Providing patient education and supporting the implementation of best practices in medicines management.
- Involved in training and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Management qualification or equivalent experience and willingness to undertake such a qualification.
- NVQ Work Based Assessor.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Accredited Checking Technician (or willingness to undertake).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
