The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Physiologist to join our team in Warrington. This is a full-time position starting on the 8th of October 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of £28 - £35. The role is initially for a duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- You will conduct sleep studies and polysomnography.
- You will analyse sleep data and prepare detailed reports.
- You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
- You will educate patients on sleep hygiene and treatment options.
- You will maintain and calibrate sleep study equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
- Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS).
- Relevant qualifications and registration as a Sleep Physiologist.
- Experience in conducting and interpreting sleep studies.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
