Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Audiologist to join the Audiology Department with our client in South East London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy NHS audiology service, delivering high-quality hearing assessments and rehabilitation services to adult patients.
You will play a key role in supporting patients with their hearing healthcare needs, carrying out diagnostic assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing ongoing follow-up care to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct full diagnostic hearing assessments.
- Assess patient hearing needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Fit and programme hearing aids.
- Manage follow-up appointments and hearing aid repair clinics.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Undertake associated administrative duties.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a recognised qualification in Audiology.
- Have experience conducting routine adult audiology assessments.
- Demonstrate experience in hearing aid fitting and management.
- Possess excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Be able to maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Previous NHS experience is desirable.
- Experience working within adult audiology services is preferred.
