As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team in Shrewsbury providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision‑making skills and ability to handle high‑pressure situations and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triaging patients upon arrival assessing their condition and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
  • Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients providing life‑saving measures when necessary.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs symptoms and changes in patients conditions.
  • Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
  • Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration.
  • 6 months experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
