We are looking for a highly skilled Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have recent extensive manufacturing experience within the last three years. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective preparation of aseptic products, contributing to the high standards of patient care we strive to maintain.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and dispensing of aseptic products, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards.
- Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain the quality and safety of aseptic manufacturing processes.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
- Support the training of junior staff.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
- Previous experience with JAC EPMA is desirable but not essential.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
