We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Packing Service Unit at Whipps Cross Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the coordination of operational activities within the pre-packing area, ensuring compliance with MHRA standards and internal quality reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling and planning of materials management activities.
- Support inspection, labelling, assembly, repacking, and documentation processes.
- Ensure timely updates and accuracy of documentation in line with MHRA audits.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards throughout operations.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the packing unit.
Qualifications and Experience
- BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians or equivalent.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in GMP environments is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
