The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Distribution Unit in London. This role involves a variety of tasks including procurement, invoicing, and distribution of medicines. The ideal candidate will be comfortable lifting heavy goods and being on their feet for most of the day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and invoicing processes.
- Distribute medicines efficiently and accurately.
- Handle and lift heavy goods as required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
- Minimum of 2 years' post-registration NHS hospital pharmacy experience.
- Proven experience in procurement, invoicing, and distribution.
- Physical ability to lift heavy goods and stand for extended periods.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
