We are currently looking for a dedicated Band 3 Locum Imaging Assistant to join our team in London. This is a 3‐month contract with a pay rate of £16.00 per hour. The role involves working 37.5 hours per week across various shifts. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting imaging services in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities- Support the radiology team in preparing patients for imaging procedures.
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure a smooth workflow within the department.
- Assist with patient positioning and handling patient records.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the imaging rooms.
- Provide essential support to radiographers and ensure patients have a comfortable and safe experience.
- Previous experience as an Imaging Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role.
- Basic knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and nights.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‐paced environment.
