We are seeking a skilled Cancer Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification and have hospital experience, ideally in dispensing duties, stock control, and ward top-up. While experience handling cytotoxic medication is ideal, it is not essential. This role is crucial in supporting our cancer services and ensuring the safe and effective management of medications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the dispensary with the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy reception.
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service is required.
- Previous NHS hospital experience is essential.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
