Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:30AM – 16:30PM

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at South London. This rehabilitation role involves supporting patients with neurological disorders (Functional Neurological Disorder - FND) as part of the wider Maudsley Neuropsychiatry Service. This is a fantastic opportunity for any psychology graduate looking to gain experience in a specialised psychology service, potentially aiding their application for a clinical psychology doctorate. Please note, this is not a home-based or virtual role; the successful applicant will need to work on-site at our rehab unit.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitation support to patients with neurological disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, and support patients in their daily activities and therapeutic exercises. Your role will also involve monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the rehabilitation program.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Registered with the appropriate professional body
  • Experience in Emergency Department and Acute Medicine settings
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Flexibility to cover shifts during the Christmas period
