We are currently seeking a Band 4 Associate Practitioner specializing in Histology to join our client's team in North East of England. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established private laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and embed tissue samples
- Perform microtomy and stain slides for microscopic examination
- Support pathologists in diagnostic reporting
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration not required
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
