We are currently seeking a Band 6-7 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology - Dissection to join our client’s team in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform macroscopic examination and dissection of surgical specimens under supervision.
- You will ensure accurate specimen preparation and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in specimen dissection within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with macroscopic examination
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
