We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in Burton on Trent. This is a full-time, ongoing position working a full-shift rota, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms.
- You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with automated chemistry analysers (Roche Cobas)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
