Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8A Pharmacist to join a pharmacy team in East London. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality clinical pharmacy services within a busy acute hospital setting, supporting patient care and medicines optimisation. The successful candidate will bring strong clinical pharmacy experience, with a particular focus on antimicrobial stewardship, contributing to safe and effective prescribing practices across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical pharmacy services across inpatient wards.
- Provide expert advice on antimicrobial prescribing and stewardship.
- Support medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to audits, governance, and service development activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven clinical pharmacy experience within an NHS setting.
- Experience in antimicrobial pharmacy or stewardship (essential).
- Ability to work at Band 7 or Band 8A level.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
