Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join a Pharmacy Technical Services team in East London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist aseptic unit, supporting the preparation and release of critical medicines. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient provision of aseptic services, working closely with pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and release of aseptic products within the technical services department.
- Assist with the production and checking of chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition (PN), and CIVAS where required.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic protocols, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance processes.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy and clinical teams to support patient care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent.
- Previous aseptic services experience is essential.
- Experience in releasing chemotherapy, PN, and CIVAS (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
