Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join a well‑regarded NHS service in Lincolnshire. The role ideally suits candidates with obstetrics experience, but applications from those with general or gynaecology scanning skills will also be considered. You will deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging and patient care within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a range of ultrasound examinations, ideally obstetrics, or general and gynaecology if obstetrics experience is not available.
- Accurately report findings and make appropriate referrals where necessary.
- Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety during all examinations.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the ultrasound service.
Requirements
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
- Proven competency in at least one of the following areas: Obstetrics, General, or Gynaecology ultrasound.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and patient‑care skills.
