We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Locum Sonographer to join a leading healthcare facility in Derby. Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality ultrasound scans, ensuring accurate imaging and reporting to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, obstetricians, and referring clinicians, to provide comprehensive ultrasound services.
- Conducting a range of scans, maintaining high standards of patient care, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting, and adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Requirements
- HCPC or equivalent registration is essential.
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in ultrasound scanning.
- Competency in general, obstetric, and/or gynecological ultrasound.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Any scans welcomed – Obstetric, Gynae, General, MSK, Vascular – a combination of any of these.
