Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a Band 4/5 Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team in West Yorkshire. This cross-site role offers an excellent opportunity to support dispensary operations and medicines management services within a busy hospital environment. Candidates with Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) and Medicines Management Technician (MMT) experience will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support dispensary operations, including dispensing and accuracy checking (ACT).
- Assist with medicines management activities across inpatient areas.
- Maintain compliance with legal, professional, and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
- Contribute to stock control and ensure efficient workflow within the pharmacy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous experience in hospital pharmacy settings.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple sites.
