Biomedical Scientist in Histology - Dissection

We are currently seeking a Band 6-7 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology - Dissection to join our client’s team in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will perform macroscopic examination and dissection of surgical specimens under supervision.
  • You will ensure accurate specimen preparation and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Experience in specimen dissection within a clinical laboratory
  • Experience with macroscopic examination
